More on how business folks can get started on Twitter

This short article titled "For the Professional: How to Get Started On Twitter" by blogger and Web Strategist Jeremiah Owyan might be a Twitter review for some, but a start for others.

Be sure to click on his link to CIO magazine where he gives an interview about Twitter.

The mother of all RSS feeds

Another great resource for social media topics is RSS feed aggregator Alltop.com. When you get to the splash page, click on the "Work" link. Then click on the "Social Media" sub-category link. Here you'll find dozens of blog and news feeds. Each feed gives you a listing of the five most recent postings from each site. Pretty slick.

Check out this YouTube video tutorial (length 1:21 min.) on using Alltop.

Twitter me this

Joe Pulizzi just sent me a link to a wonderful post titled Brands that Tweet by Paul Dunay on his Buzz Marketing for Technology blog. Here you can read about how some corporate high-flyers are branding using Twitter. In the post he also lists some links to other discussions revolving around the pros and cons of Twitter branding. This is good stuff.

Here's to the youth of today -- cheers!

A great resource for an overview on how to use social media within your organization is the free monthly interactive newsletter ContentWise. The December issue features ways to measure the effectiveness of social media. Always a good thing.

I would also recommend a visit to Junta42. Joe Pulizzi is an aggregator of content marketing topics has tons of articles and blog links on the subject at hand.
